Meindl 680170 Editorial Review
In an editorial review, the Meindl Men's Hiking and Mountaineering shoes receive a mixed but generally positive reception from customers. Many users highlight the exceptional comfort and fit of these shoes, particularly those with wider feet and high insteps. Reviews indicate that these shoes do not require a break-in period, enabling users to embark on long walks straight out of the box without the worry of blisters or discomfort. One customer describes the sensation of wearing these shoes as akin to "putting your feet in cream," showcasing the satisfaction many feel regarding fit and comfort. While users appreciate the high-quality Construction and longevity of these shoes, noting their durability (one pair reportedly lasted seven years), some concerns have been raised about the shoe's price point relative to their performance over time. A few customers experienced issues with manufacturing defects, such as toe caps falling off and stitching coming undone, particularly after extensive use. The responses to these concerns varied, with one customer feeling undervalued by the return policy after their shoes degraded despite regular maintenance. Overall, the Meindl Men's Hiking and Mountaineering shoes are celebrated for their comfort and Construction, though potential buyers are advised to weigh the cost against the durability and performance over the long term. **
