Kindle Edition Classics Editorial Review
Amok is a compelling novella by Stefan Zweig, published by Greenbooks Editore. Set in the oppressive atmosphere of the Dutch East Indies, it vividly captures the struggles and intense emotions of its central character, a doctor bound by his promises. Readers have appreciated Zweig's masterful ability to convey profound passions that drive human behavior. This well-crafted narrative, though not recommended as an introduction to Zweig, showcases themes of love, nobility, and personal sacrifice. Its Spanish publication, with a length of 162 pages, makes for a concise yet impacting read for those seeking to explore complex emotions and the human condition.
