The Matfer Bourgeat Copper Casserole is receiving positive feedback and is popular amongst its owners. It's an ideal size, cooks evenly, cleans easily and has a beautiful copper exterior. The stainless steel interior ensures that you won't need to re-tin it, making it durable and long-lasting. It does, however, have traditional iron handles that get hot quickly, and the pots can be quite heavy. It's a shame that the lids have to be purchased separately, but they do a great job of retaining moisture and heat.
