IYV Upright Basses IBHLFF5-400 Editorial Review
IYV IBHLFF5-400 Multi-scale Headless Bass offers a unique 33"-35" multi-scale design that enhances playability with a comfortable feel and robust sound, especially noted for its lower B string clarity. Reviewers highlight the instrument's excellent fretwork and smooth neck, making it a joy to play after minor adjustments like intonation and truss adjustments. Many appreciate its solid electronics and decent preamp, which are surprisingly good for the price point. However, some users raised concerns regarding the tuners, expressing difficulty in adjusting them initially, though this was often resolved with some maintenance. Overall, it's seen as a fantastic introduction to multi-scale basses without breaking the bank.
