Comedy 88095900 Editorial Review
Without A Stitch is a film that captivates audiences with its vintage charm and glimpse into the European atmosphere of the late 60s and early 70s. While advertised as a DVD product, customers have received a replicated DVD-R instead of the actual release, which may disappoint some expecting the genuine article. The movie itself offers a unique blend of eroticism, historical context, and travel documentary elements, showcasing scenes of Hamburg, Germany in 1970 that provide a fascinating insight into a bygone era. The cinematography captures the beauty of early 1970s Europe, featuring stunning architecture and attractive actresses, notably lead Anne Grete Nissin. However, viewers looking for explicit erotica may find the film lacking in prolonged sexual content, as it leans more towards being a tourist travelogue with brief nude scenes interspersed throughout. The sexist themes present in the storyline, focusing on pleasing male partners, may also be off-putting to some audience members. Overall, Without A Stitch offers an intriguing and colorful historical artifact for those interested in the era it portrays, but falls short of delivering as a traditional erotic film.
