If there is no hole in your packaging and you don't want the added expense of a hang tab, try the tension clip part, but the item must be very light, testing is always best. You need 12 hang positions? Just take 2 of these strips and easily snap them together (no tools or fasteners required) and you suddenly have a 12 hook strip, at 32" long.
