The Motorcraft MM929 Blower Motor is a perfect fit for the 2008 Mercury Grand Marquis. However, it does not come with a new gasket, motor vent tube, or retainer clip for the squirrel cage, unlike other cheap replacement blower motors. The connector design has been changed, and the WT56853 adapter assembly is required to make a connection. Otherwise, the product works well at all speeds and does not make any unwanted noises. It blows hard and is quieter than the old one. To replace a dead blower motor, customers need a blower wheel and gasket, and an adapter that can be found at a junkyard.
