Drama Editorial Review
The Founder - DVD is a captivating biographical drama that delves into the origins of McDonald's, showcasing Ray Kroc's ambitious journey from a down-and-out salesman to the titan of fast food. Michael Keaton's portrayal of Kroc is compelling, bringing depth to a character that viewers may love or loathe, depending on their perspective. The film not only emphasizes the innovative spirit of the McDonald brothers, who valued quality and simplicity, but also underscores Kroc's vision that propelled the brand to fame. The cinematography beautifully captures the essence of the 1950s, while the narrative unfolds a morally complex story that provokes thoughtful discussion about entrepreneurship and ethics.
