This compact and lightweight module is perfect for automotive applications and converts an 8V to 24V DC input to a stable 6V DC output at up to 2.5A current (15W maximum). With its epoxy sealed waterproof housing, this converter module is designed to withstand harsh environments and ensure reliable performance.
It also features overload, over-current, and over/low voltage protection for added safety and stability. Operating this module is easy and hassle-free. It can be powered by a DC power supply with a nominal voltage of 12V, but it will also operate on any input voltage from 8V to 24V DC.
The quiescent input current without any load attached is only 96%, making it energy-efficient. Measuring at just 38mm x 27mm x 23mm (52mm including mounting tabs) and weighing only 30g, this module is extremely compact and convenient to use and transport. It even comes with a 12cm cable for easy installation.
Please note that the input DC power supply must have the capability to provide the maximum power drawn by your load to ensure optimal performance. If the input supply is not capable of providing enough power, the converter will automatically adjust the output voltage accordingly.
