Actors & Entertainers Editorial Review
"Things I Should Have Said" by Jamie Lynn Spears offers readers an insight into her life as a teenage star, young mother, and person struggling to uphold family values. Though she is not a professional writer, Jamie Lynn's writing gives readers a unique perspective into her life's highs and lows. The memoir covers her professional journey working on Nickelodeon and sentimental moments of being a mother, including tackling a personal tragedy that brings tears to the reader's eyes. However, some readers feel that the timeline is jumpy and repetitive. Still, overall, readers recommend this book to anyone interested in Jamie Lynn’s story, as it gives primarily her account of events and personal experiences rather than a story of Britney.
