The Uhppote keypad operates either in standalone mode or as an input device for a dedicated access controller. When connected to the controller, the Windows desktop software is used to manage ID and PIN entries. The software logs failed access attempts to scan for gaming attempts on the system. It is wired as a slave reader and works both as a card and fob reader, as well as a keypad. The product looks slick and professional, is easy to program, and is waterproof. However, the instructions and schematics do not align with the product, making it difficult to set up. Some defective units did not perform well, but these can be easily returned or refunded. The LED lights are on Constantly, but this can be remedied by taking apart the keypad and painting the LED bulbs with JB quick weld.
