Gold Tone Hardware MBTR Editorial Review

The customer reception of this thumb rest accessory for bass instruments has generally been positive with users appreciating its design, stability, and functionality. Many customers noted that the thumb rest fits securely onto the Kala U-bass without causing damage to the finish, citing its padded exterior that prevents scuff marks. The ease of installation and the ability to reposition it for a better playing angle were also highlighted by several reviewers. However, there were a couple of complaints regarding the product’s mounting design. Some customers found that the clip's positioning made it difficult to pluck the strings accurately, and there were challenges for those with different body styles, particularly hollow body basses. Despite these minor inconveniences, most reviews reflected satisfaction with the thumb rest’s performance. The Construction quality and visual appeal were also mentioned positively, affirming that it appears to be a well-integrated addition to the instrument. Overall, it seems that while the product may have a few fitment challenges depending on the bass model, the majority of users have had a great experience, finding it stable and effective for their needs. **
