To achieve professional results, cut outside the line and use a router with a template and a bearing to finish the cut. It is not variable speed, but it is functional. It comes with a blade and has a work surface of approximately 12x14. The product is made in China with American parts, and the manufacturer's suggested part number for the blade is 089120406124 (62 in. x 6 mm x 0.3t). There are mixed reviews for this product. Some customers had issues with the base being warped and experiencing a lot of rust. One customer is still hoping for a refund. However, another customer who is a Ryobi user found this saw to be great for what they need. A beginner woodworker found the saw to be perfect for their needs and a great first bandsaw, but did note that it works better with 1/2'' blades.
