Format: VHS Tape Featured Categories Editorial Review
Kramer vs. Kramer [VHS] is a powerful film showcasing the emotional journey of a father, Ted Kramer, portrayed by Dustin Hoffman, who must adapt to single parenthood when his wife Joanna, played by Meryl Streep, leaves him. The performances are lauded, particularly Justin Henry as their son, Billy, who captures the complexities of childhood emotions. The film delves into the themes of love, relationships, and family dynamics, and critic reviews highlight its ability to resonate through generations. While not family-friendly due to mild nudity and language, it remains a touching exploration of personal growth in a painful situation.
