The Imperia Ipasta Deluxe Limited Edition Pasta Machine is a great tool to use for making homemade pasta. One of the main differences from the regular Imperia Ipasta is that this machine has a special non-stick coating that makes it easier to roll out the pasta without sticking, and prevents any flaking of the chrome finish which is an added advantage. It has a screw vice which makes it secure on the tabletop or kitchen counter when using it. The exterior sheet metal is stainless steel while the machine has a pad attached to the bottom to protect the counter when using it. The mechanics of the machine work really well, although one or two customers had issues with it. They recommend running a piece of dough through all the mechanisms repeatedly to clean it first thing when using the machine which is good advice. The machine is all-metal with a removable handle by design, to switch between the roller and the cutter. The handle is secure when used in making pasta dough, but it tends to fall out if the unit is bumped, although it's not a major issue. The biggest problem is with the noodle attachment which was faulty for one customer, causing it to fall off easily. Overall, the Imperia Ipasta Deluxe Limited Edition Pasta Machine is well made and heavy, giving it the appearance that it will last through generations. However, it would have been better to have it a bit longer extending the length to make more noodles.
