Dock Edge PVC Profile Dock Guard, Slant P & Standard D
The Dock Edge PVC Profile Dock Guard comes in slant P and standard D styles, and is designed to protect your boat and dock from damage caused by contact. However, some customers have found this product difficult to work with and not as pictured. The guard is rolled up in packaging which means that the 90-degree mounting flange is flattened and needs to be bent up to 90 degrees before being fitted to the dock. A utility knife or hacksaw can be used to cut the material to size. The width of the Standard D style is approximately 2 inches. The top lip is about 1-1/4 inches wide. Unfortunately, for those who need a vinyl deck top of at least 2.25 inches to fit past a metal strip on the top of the deck, there are no larger profiles available.
