EMB Stage Lights Editorial Review
The EMB - EBDMX1 is a budget-friendly DMX 512 controller designed for stage lighting. The controller has a 4ru rack mount that fits into any pro audio case and offers up to 12 independently controlled lights. The unit is praised for its numerous features given its price point and is capable of controlling and changing colors of the lights as needed. However, some users have noted that the sliders are a bit touchy and that a few buttons easily fall off. Additionally, there are reports of one of the encoders not working Consistently and it is noted that this controller is not suitable for standard LED lights, conventional fixtures, or dimmers. Users have mentioned the complex programming involved and the absence of a master fader, suggesting that this product is best suited for those with a good understanding of DMX.
