The Nexas Nl102p Heavy Duty Hd Truck Diagnostic Scanner Tool is a great tool to have on hand should you experience a check engine light on your heavy-duty vehicle. It is easy to operate, with self-intuitive function buttons and menus, and a bright, legible screen. The tool cleared an erroneous code on a 2017 Cummins 450hp ISL, and while it provides the codes for Cummins engines, it does not provide the trouble shooting explanation, which needs to be searched on the internet. It is compatible with most medium-duty International trucks and can make diagnosis a little easier, ensuring that one can have it as a road call support device. However, some customers complained that the tool does not do a forced regen on a Maxxforce engine as it claims. Overall, this product is a great investment to have for detecting engine problems on a heavy-duty vehicle.
