The Progressive International Butter Keeper is a clear plastic container with measurements on the bottom part. It fits a standard 4oz or 1/4lb butter stick and handles tall sticks of butter and short sticks like from Trader Joe's. However, it is not for use in keeping butter on the countertop during summer as it does not seal tight like a Tupperware container. Moreover, it can be kind of hard to open at times. The dish is unbreakable and easy to clean although the blue markings wash off after prolonged use. The product is not suitable for European sized sticks like Kerry Gold. The Philadelphia 8oz cream cheese bar fits perfectly in the container.
