Информация о продукте
- In a stimulating series of recordings in the late Thai winter of 2012 featuring bansuri flute player Shyan Kishore, master student of Hariprasad Chaurasia, this collaboration has him playing live with Nepalese singing bowl master Aman Shahi. Together with Jazz legend Ralph Thomas who contributes bass clarinet on one tune they create a fusion that stimulates and inspires the senses and natural energies through the meditative space created. The common language of music that we all share reaches out to touch our hearts and souls, thereby crossing cultural, geographical and spiritual divides. Healing qualities of singing bowls are well known. Here they bring you to higher and deeper realms of spiritual healing. Your Chakra's will shine. Shyan remarked: quot;This album demonstrates beautifully how instruments such as the Bansuri flute, Bass Clarinet and Tibetan singing bowls, all quite different in appearance, origin and sound can reach toward one another and embrace with mesmerizing results. To have these musicians who are all very capable on their instruments of choice interact with one another for the first time and demonstrate courage, trust and curious excitement to how such an unusual collaboration might unfold was a bold step, but one guided intuitively and with confident visionary support. The results are clearly a satisfying blend of audible textures where harmony, tension, space and elevating moments of passionate discovery allow one's hearing to bathe with ceaseless pleasure and curious anticipation.quot;
