The 24 Quilting/Embroidery/Sewing Machine Thread Spools/Cone Thread Savers are specifically designed for larger 3000 & 5000 thread cones. These spool savers keep the thread from unspooling and prevent loose ends or thread tails. They make it easy to start sewing or embroidering, without having to worry about winding up the thread that's unraveled. They come in various, vibrant neon colours and are well made. They fit perfectly and hold the tail right against the cone, so it never slips out. For those who use older spools, however, these savers may not grip tightly enough to stay in place. They are also too stiff for some customers, so they don't wrap around the thread tightly enough. Some customers would have preferred neutral colours instead of neon ones. Overall, the 24 Quilting/Embroidery/Sewing Machine Thread Spools/Cone Thread Savers are a handy little tool that keeps larger thread cones neat and tidy. They help prevent thread from unraveling and they are well made and durable.
