DBElectrical Starters Editorial Review
The DB Electrical SFD0145 New Starter & Drive Combo is a replacement option for Ford Tractor Farm 2N 8N 9N 28HP 30HP. It has a rating of 6 volts and 1600 watts. The cranking amps required for a 12-volt battery would be 320 amps. The cardboard should not be removed until after the installation. The starter is a direct replacement for the original starter, and the solenoid and key switch are only used if you have a 12 volt battery. The tape between the starter housing and bendix serves no purpose. Users have confirmed that it works well on 6-volt and 12-volt systems.
