Black & African American Editorial Review
"Falling Toward the Moon" has received mixed reviews from readers, with varied reactions to the poetry. Some have expressed disappointment, finding the poems to be flat and lacking depth, drawing comparisons to "Instagram poetry" and the work of another poet. They note that the verses feel more like aphorisms rather than engaging poetry. However, one reader appreciates the soothing and calming effect the book had on them during a chaotic period in their life, expressing gratitude for the words. Another reader found the book to be a gem that they needed, while also mentioning a disappointment with the quality of the cover. Despite varying opinions, some readers find the book to be enjoyable, relaxing, and comforting, appreciating its calming effect.
