Marcel Bozzuffi (Actor), Fabio Testi (Actor) Movies Editorial Review

Contraband is a violent and gritty crime movie directed by Lucio Fulci, featuring Fabio Testi and Marcel Bozzuffi. It tells the story of a group of cigarette smugglers who are threatened by a new drug boss, leading to a sequence of bloody fights and revenge. While not as fast-paced or erotic as Fulci's previous work, the film offers plenty of gore and thrilling action, making it a watchable entry in the Poliziotteschi genre. Some reviewers praise the film's gritty atmosphere, memorable characters, and surreal gunplay, while others criticize the misogyny and excessive violence. The lack of subtitles and special features on the DVD release is seen as a major drawback. Overall, Contraband is recommended for fans of Italian crime films and Fulci's signature style.
