MXR Pitch & Octave Editorial Review
The MXR Poly Blue Octave is a versatile pedal with the ability to use your dry tone along with one or two octaves up and/or down. Each octave knob, along with the dry tone, can be adjusted to your desired level. There is a mono button you can press to switch the octave effect between monophonic and polyphonic. The Poly Blue Octave also has a fuzz button which applies some sweet fuzz to your tone. The only downside is that you can't control the level of fuzz applied. Lastly, they have included a modulation knob which drives either their Phase 90 phaser effect, or a Leslie/rotating speaker effect.
